February 27, 2006

Dear members of EUROPT,

in these days, we are waiting for the official
information that our proposal for a new EURO
Working Group "Operational Research in
Computational Biology and Bioinformatics"
has been accepted by EURO - inofficially, we
heard about this good news already, but may
wait with the congratulations a little while.

At this occasion, may we please remember the
invitation the stream

"Computational Biology and Bioinformatics"

at EURO XXI 2006 (http://www.euro2006.org/).
Thanks to the stream organizers, our friends and teachers
Jacek Blazewicz and Metin Turkay. There is still an
opportunity given to sumit a paper to this Invited Stream
(Jacek.Blazewicz@cs.put.poznan.pl, mturkay@ku.edu.tr)
and, as we hope, participate at the special experience of
founding a new EURO working group on wonderful Iceland.

Actually, this would be one out of two new EURO WGs
initiated and proposed by your group EUROPT (the
other one, EURO WG "Operational Research for
Development" became accepted in July 2005 already).

Please do not hesitate to contact our friends under
Jacek.Blazewicz@cs.put.poznan.pl,  mturkay@ku.edu.tr

We would be very glad!

With best wishes and warm regards,
yours sincerely,
Gerhard-Wilhelm Weber
